Rawn M. James, Jr. is a twenty-four-year-old writer and student. He graduated in May 2001 from Duke University School of Law. His first novel, Redemption Savoy, presently is represented by Marie Brown Literary Associates in New York City. While an undergraduate at Yale University, Rawn placed second in the Peter J. Wallace Memorial Prize for fiction, the college's most prestigious creative writing award. Last year, his short fiction received honorable mention in the Center Press Master's Literary Competition. Rawn is currently working on a novel set in his hometown of Miami, Florida.
