Ashley Shelby recently received an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University. Her short stories and essays have appeared or are forthcoming in Carve, Watchword Literary Magazine, Transit(U.K.), 3am Magazine, Mr. Beller's Neighborhood, Small Spiral Notebook, Gastronomica, and Post Road, among others.
